The Lost Eye By: Hunter S.
Have you ever heard of a pirate who looks for his lost eye? Well, if you read this story, you will. This story is about a pirate who loses his eye and searches the Lost Sea for it. The pirate's name is Capn Jim. He is hard headed. He will not give up until he finds what he is looking for...or until he dies. So one day, he set sail to the Lost Sea with his crew. After a few days, a huge storm set the ship off track. Some other pirates attacked, and they killed almost everybody. As Capn Jim woke up, he noticed he only had one eye! He had no idea what had happened. He kept sailing on. Then, evil samurai monkeys attacked! They came out of a barrel, well lots of barrels. With their evil samurai swords, they chopped off Capn Jim's fingers and toes and ate them like French fries. So fingerless Jim sailed on. Since the monkeys killed all of his crew, it was only Capn Jim. As he sailed on, he never got in any more trouble. He felt lucky except for his hands and feet. Then he figured out he had a deadly disease. Then he started vomiting. He thought he was going to die. He never found his eye. No one ever heard his name again. But, the monkeys never went hungry.

Hunter, you have a vivid imagination. I really enjoyed your story. It was different and entertaining! Keep writing. I think you are a good writer.
Hunter, The boys in the class thought this story was really cool. They wanted to know where you found the name Capt. Jim. We really wondered where the eye is. We thought your title was great - it made us want to read the story.
Mrs. Arthur's Class
