Taking My Friend Swimming By: Alyssa

One day, I wanted to take Allison swimming, but I didn't know if my mom would let me. I asked her during my soccer game because she's always happy then. She said, "Yes." We were excited! We went to pick up Allison. We got to the pool, but guess what. We couldn't touch without drowning - the water was too deep. Allison and I didn't like that because we don't want to die at ten years old. So we went to the slide, and we played there for about an hour. We still had fun even though we couldn't touch in the deep end. The next time we went to the pool, we were able to touch. Allison and I were happy. We went to the slide and Allison said, "This is for babies." Later that evening, I said to Allison, "See you next month." Now every month, we like to go swimming at Wave Tek. That is a fun place to go swimming.
