The Deer Story By: Coltin
One time, Coltin and his friend Levi were heading up to the cabin to shoot a deer. They need a four wheeler to get up to the cabin. "You need to be careful going to the cabin," said Levi. Then they built a fire to get warm. To build a fire, you need some fire wood. "Get a lighter to start the fire," Levi said. He will get the oil to have the fire rolling. Next, you look for a deer. You have to be quiet to see a deer. Also, you have to be patient to shoot a deer. Then, you get your gun ready to shoot a deer. To shoot it, you make sure the scope is on the deer. You pull the trigger slowly, and make sure the deer is still there. When you shoot it, we go get the deer. Going hunting is not all about shooting a deer. It is about having an amusing time with your friends.

Nice story, Coltin! I like how you used the word "amusing." I see that you understand hunting. Have you ever shot a deer?
Coltin,
We liked your story, because it was about something that we are interested in. Thanks for telling us how to hunt. Kyle likes to do the samething. Did you remember to turn the gun off of safety?
