My Best Birthday By: Katelyn
My best birthday was last December 7th, and it was at Valley Worlds of Fun. It is a place where a person can go and ride rides and play games. It looks colorful inside and on the outside, too. Inside there are lots of games and even rides. The thing that I did was mostly games because the games are lots of fun. One game was lazer tag, and it was lots of fun. There was a ride that was so fun. It was called the Hamster Wheel, and it went upside down. The people that came were Hannah, Brianna, Madison, Mom, Dad, and both grandmas and papaws were all there at my outstanding party. I got lots of things, too. I got a Bratz doll from Brianna and a Polly car from Madison, and lots of things from my family. Opening gifts was exciting because you get lots of things. You can win tickets there, too, and this is how you get them. If you win a game, you get tickets. But when I was there, I got lots and lots of tickets. You can get one million tickets and even more. I got 437 tickets. I know that because there is a ticket machine and it tells you how many tickets you have. There are prizes that you can get with your tickets. I hope you will get a chance to go there and maybe have a party as good as mine.

Hey Katelyn! I've been to Valley World of Fun and I had a great time too. I played lazer tag with my brother, cousins and uncles. I can see why that was your best birthday!

Katelyn, I liked your use of vocabulary, such as "colorful" and "outstanding." I also liked the way you closed your story. By the way, I took my grandchildren there once and they loved it! :)
