The Big Game By: Michael

It is very awesome to play baseball. I play with the most talented team in the league. The games are really exciting when you go to them. When you are at practice and the games, you get to spend time with your friends. My whole team can run very fast. Our number one pitcher is Levi. Our whole team hits really hard, but Nick has the most home runs. During one exciting game, Nick wasn't doing so well. Nick struck out. Immediately, we were all shocked. He said "He threw too fast! I didn't see it!" I could tell he was sad. Finally, Nick got back in the game and made a home run. My friend, Walker, yelled the loudest. According to the scoreboard, we won the game. Since Nick was the one who won the game, the whole team picked him up. We got a really big trophy, and the coach was proud of us!

Hi Michael
I loved reading your story about baseball! Baseball is one of my favorite sports to watch. It sounds like you have lots of good friends playing with you on your team, which makes playing even more fun I'm sure. Congratulations on winning!

I enjoyed your description of all of the emotions in a baseball game: shock, sadness, excitement, and pride. I think I would have loved watching that one! Great story!
