A Day at Idlewild By: Shasta
I think you should go to Idlewild with my brother and I. I like to go to the swimming pool with Greg. I like to watch Greg do flips. One time when he did it, his pants fell down. He had boxers on. The water slides are very enjoyable go on because it's fun to get wet with friends. It is cool because the water slide flips you in the tube, and sometimes it scares you. The tubes are so fast when they go down the hill. The water buckets are so cool in the Soap Zone. They dump water on you, and when they hit you, the water hurts. I was standing there looking up, and the water splashed me. I do things with my best friends at Idlewild Park. We went on the all rides. We also went on the water slides, water buckets, and in the swimming pool. At the end of the day, my best friends, my brother, my mom and dad, and I all ate lunch. After all the food and the fun, we went home and went straight to bed.

It sounds like you had such a great time at Idlewild!! I remember when I went there when I was younger--my favorite ride was the kangaroos or maybe the carousel...I can never choose. When I was younger though, they didn't have the water park yet--I didn't know it was there until I went a few years ago with some friends of mine! I didn't dare go underneath the water bucket though...I wasn't wearing a bathing suit! Thank you for sharing your story and reminding me of some really fun times I had!
Yes, I'll bet you went straight to bed. All that food and fun makes you tired. I enjoyed your story, Shasta. It sounds like a really fun place. I also LOVE water slides! :)
