Big Bear Lake By: Hannah
A fantastic place to go is Big Bear Lake because you can do everything there. You can swim, eat ice cream, go on water slides, go to the park, golf cart rides, play, and relax in the warm beach sand. The car ride there is about two hours. I always fall asleep on the couch in the motor home. When I wake up, we are at the sign that says Welcome to Big Bear Lake! It is so extravagent when you get there. If you take a big breath and smell the woods, you're there. Once I get there, I play in the treehouse. The treehouse is old with white paint peeling off, but it is still the best treehouse ever. There are a lot of things you can do in that treehouse even though it's old. I can play cooking up in the treehouse. It is very exciting. The food tastes so elegant. It's much better than any other restaurant. After a while, I look how high I am. The view is excellent. The treehouse is probably as high as a swing set. Then I play basketball. On the treehouse, we have a basketball hoop. I tell my brother, J.J., to give me the basketball, and I drop it into the hoop. I get it right in! I always like to play basketball in the treehouse. In the afternoon, we go to the little lake. The little lake is across from the water slide. The little lake is so amazing because it has a lake and sand and across from it is a water slide! We go to the little lake by golf carts. I always drive. Swimming is the best part because it is so refreshing. You always see other people. Then I go in the sand, but I hate when the sand sticks to my feet. So I go back into the water and come out, and it is stuck on my feet again. There is a water slide, too. The water slide is so amazing. If you are lucky, it might turn you around. I always lay down. But the last time, I fell and got hurt. I got cut up bad - very bad. I get to drive the golf cart, I get to drive it to the park, beach, and to get ice cream. I also get to drive it to the store. Then I go in the store and get what I need. I usually need stuff for smores. Then I drive back while holding it. I drive to the park, too. The park is always exciting. I drive around our camp site. There is a driveway around there. That's where I drive. Driving around with the kids is almost exciting, but not really. So do you want to go to Big Bear Lake or Myrtle Beach? I really believe Big Bear Lake is the better choice.

Hey Hannah! You made me want to go to Big Bear Lake. You used a lot of adjectives so I could really picture it in my head. Good job!
Dear Hannah, you are right, next vacation I want to go on is to Big Bear Lake! I'm very impressed with your writing, especially how well you described everything! You seem to have lots of fun when you are on vacation, but it also sounds like you had fun while you were writing this story! I know that I had fun reading it.
Hello Hannah, I really enjoyed your story. It was very descriptive and made me feel as if I were experiencing it too. Keep writing stories---I think you have a knack for writing.
Hi Hannah,
Hey, do you have your driver's license? You sure do a lot of driving at Big Bear Lake. Next time, can I go with you? The way you described Big Bear Lake made me want to go. What kind of food did you fix in your treehouse? By the way, I love ice cream and I loved your story!
