The Best Sniffers of All By: Tayler

Black bears are cool! Black bears have sharp claws that grow up to 2.5 inches long. They can grow up to 4-6 feet. They can weigh anywhere from 100 to 900 pounds. They can live up to 30 years old. Even after wandering far off, they can find their way home. They live in woods, meadows, and swamps. They have long tongues. They aren't picky eaters. They even eat berries. They can really move, and they can leap short distances if they really want. They're good at using their paws. They can open jar lids. They might want to do that when they find food at campground. Black bears only visit campgrounds when their are no people around. They would rather run from people than hurt people. They are the best sniffers of all the mammals in North America. I love bears.
