My Dog's Chewing Problem By: Bryan
I have a dog. His name is Buddy. Buddy is tan and with little yellow patches of fur. I taught him how to stand on his hind legs. When he does this, he is as tall as me. I run with him three days a week. He likes me to talk with him, too. The only problem is Buddy loves to bite. He bites everything in his path. Every tree in the yard and even the fence has teeth marks. I searched all over the house for his old chew toy for the past week! A few days later, I found it in his sleeping area under the stairs. He quit biting stuff after I gave him his old chew toy. It sure is nice having a dog.

Mrs. Pellillo is Cool! By: Anthony
School is fun because Mrs. Pellillo makes it easy and fun for us. She is very nice to the whole class. She's not mean at all. She doesn't give us a lot of homework. Mrs. Pellillo likes me the way Mrs. Price liked me in third grade. She is crazy sometimes. Mrs. Pellillo is a good teacher. She helps us with our math. She helps me with my reading. Mrs. Pellillo makes things fun and interesting. When we were studying Indians, she let us make totem poles. I like school because of Mrs. Pellillo.
The Best Sniffers of All By: Tayler
Black bears are cool! Black bears have sharp claws that grow up to 2.5 inches long. They can grow up to 4-6 feet. They can weigh anywhere from 100 to 900 pounds. They can live up to 30 years old. Even after wandering far off, they can find their way home. They live in woods, meadows, and swamps. They have long tongues. They aren't picky eaters. They even eat berries. They can really move, and they can leap short distances if they really want. They're good at using their paws. They can open jar lids. They might want to do that when they find food at campground. Black bears only visit campgrounds when their are no people around. They would rather run from people than hurt people. They are the best sniffers of all the mammals in North America. I love bears.
My Really Cool Monkey By: Ryan
I got a really cool monkey. He eats bananas, and he loves them. When I buy bananas for him, I will tell him not to buy bananas anymore. He is big and black. The woman I got him from said to be careful with him. He went in the kitchen and got the bananas. He was eating a banana. Then I took him to my room because he was a mess. I went downstairs to get water for him, but he wasn't there! I looked out the window. He was in the pool. I went to go get him, but then told him he could swim. Afterwards, I took him upstairs and put him in bed. The next morning, he was too noisy. I took him outside, and I played with him. I gave him a banana. I said, "You are sleeping outside in this doghouse. I will get you some water." He didn't want the water. He wanted my pop, but I said, "No." The next day, he didn't do anything wrong at all. Well, I decided he will be a good monkey.
Guinea Pigs By: Kassidea
I have two guinea pigs, Billy and Bob. My name is Kassidea. This is how I got them. One day, my mom surprised me with a trip to the pet store! I was five, and it sounded exciting. She said we were buying something. Okay, I have to admit, I was going to burst with excitement. When I walked into the store, there were lots of animals, but I only saw two. Two little, lonely, helpless guinea pigs. I ran to look at them. They were both ten dollars. Mom asked, "Do you want those ones?" I nodded my head quickly. She went to the clerk, and my mom paid for them. The clerk put them in a carrier box and handed them to mom. When we got home, I wanted to look at them. Then I opened the cage...they were not moving! I got scared, and finally heard a soft snoring. A couple of weeks passed. As I was feeding them, I realized Billy was fatter. He also started eating more and playing less. I decided to ignore it. A few days later, I woke up and walked downstairs. My mom had something in a washcloth. A baby guinea pig! My mom looked at me and said, "Billy is having babies!" I shrieked with joy. When she was done, Billy was asleep, and the babies were nursing. The next few days were critical. The babies squeeked all night. One morning, many weeks laters, I walked downstairs. My mom looked worried. I got ready for school. I asked, "What's wrong?" and she pointed at the cage....one of the babies was missing! It was time to get on the bus. I got on my coat and my mom said "Bye." I waved and left. There was something in my pocket, and I looked in, and there was a guinea pig! My mom saw this and grabbed it, laughing nervously. When I got home from school, my mom said we had to give away the guinea pigs. They were getting too noisy, and they kept on getting out. I nodded my head and tried to act calm, but I could feel the tears trying to sneak out. When we gave them away, I was trying to be strong. I hoped that they would have good homes.

Chloe's Rockin' Present By: Chloe
An event in my life I remember is the time we went to my mommy's Aunt Sherry's house for Christmas. Matt had opened al his presents, Destiny opened all hers, and everybody else finished. Aunt Sherry went into the kitchen and left us. She came back with a little bag and a long envelope in it. I was talking to Destiny when she told me, "Chloe, this is your last present." I was wondering what it was and as she gave it to me, I was still wondering. I went to open it up, and I saw it had a picture of Miley Cyrus on it. What is it? I thought. I was reading the words out loud. "Chloe, have fun at the Hannah Montana concert on January 4th!" I was so psyched to be going to a Hannah Montana concert. When January 4th came, I stayed home and packed a day's worth of things in my bag. Destiny came over. We got in the car and Mommy drove down the road. Three hours later, we arrived in Pittsburgh. We took our things to the hotel, fixed our beds, and got Aunt Sherry's friend in the room next door. Her name is Marla. Marla bought the tickets for us. I loved her gift! When we got to the concert, bought snacks, and took our seats, we were so excited to see the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana play. Oh, everyone was screaming when the lights went out. BOOM! Out came the music, lights, and Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas. It was the greatest day of my life!
Tony and Nick's Best Day Ever By: Tony
I will never forget the day Nick and I went to Valley Worlds of Fun. Nick and I had the best day ever. We rode the teacups. They went round and round and round. They go so fast that you have to have a seatbelt. Carly, Nick, and I went bowling in the bowling alley at Valley Worlds of Fun. Carly won. I was second, and Nick was third. I rolled a strike at the end of the game. After that, we climbed the jungle gym. Finally, Nick and I rode the roller coaster. I almost got sick. Last but not least, we played the video games. It was the best day ever!
