My Horse Dancer By: Owen
One day, I was outside with my brother. Then I saw a horse in the barn. I went over to Mom and Dad wondering why we had a horse instead of cows. Mom and Dad said we gave the cows away. We all went over to the horse. I looked at it, and it looked nice. Two weeks later, we rode the horse. After we rode the horse, I asked Mom, "What's its name?" Mom said, "It's name is Dancer." I petted the horse. Later, we went inside and went to bed. The next day, I woke up to feed and water the horse. I couldn't find Dancer anywhere! Something ran right behind me. I turned around and Dancer was in front of my face. I tried to put her back, but she ran in the field away on the side of the road. I went inside and got Mom, Dad, and my brothers. We got in the car and chased the horse. Our first stop was the Fairview Diner. We asked them if they had seen the horse. They said it went towards the Dairy Mart. We went to the Dairy Mart. They said it went to the school, so we went to the school. The horse was on the playground. Mom got the horse and jumped on it. Mom said, "Good, we got the horse!" Mom rode the horse back, but me, Dad, and my brothers drove in the car. Finally, we put the horse back, turned on the electric fence, and shut the gate. Dancer never got away again.

Hi Owen,
It was nice to read about your horse. Sometimes they can be a lot of trouble but I think the good times out-weigh the bad. Nice story
Grandma Welch
